Hot night in Roma

Ronnie and Nadia Del Papa tied the knot Saturday May 27th, 2006 and "The Directors" were there in full form.

The Hall, Buffet Roma, is now fully renovated and the food was delectable. Especially that sushi..mmm...yummy....

In traditional Italian style, the Del Papa's offered a 5 course meal and then some. The sweet table with everything imaginable, also offered a porto station with a selection of fine cheeses. These people know how to throw a party.
Their guests were a very chicly dressed bunch who celebrated and danced the night away along with the exstatic bride and groom..
There was no shortage of a good time had by all....

A few memorable parts of the evening:

1) Their opening dance : "It's a Beautiful Day" by U2.
Unconventional yet nicely up to date. This couple can definitely Rock!

2) Nadia: The bellydancer. ....
Everyone was intrigued as Nadia, the bellydancer,
performed and interacted with the guests.

This guy had a good time.......

So did this guy.......

More shots of the band during the 3rd set, around 1:00 a.m., the band played till 2:30 a.m......At this point, anything goes, even men's ties on women.

Mission successful once again!
All the best to the Del Papa's !! Your people sure know how to party !

Next Date is the 10th of June...

And the band played on....

Coordinated by Leslie Hoppenheim, the Party Planner, the room was lavishly done with all the trimmings.... The Bride, Stephanie and her groom, Martin, met on Jdate.

I mean, after all, the guy's Italian ! Coulda fooled me!

Is that Tony Picciuto or Dean Martin?

Great time had by all including the Directors.

May 4th at the Queen Elizabeth

Mission successful!

The Directors played an awesome gig at the Queen Elizabeth hotel for the "International Summit for the Alliance on Social Inclusion". The band headlined the Gala evening, with a few other acts.

One in partuclar to mention would be " Lisa Walsh".
Lisa, a born performer, was also born with a rare neurogenetic disorder called Williams Syndrome. She graduated from the Berkshire Hills Music Academy
in 2004 and is now taking voice lessons at McGill University. At 27, she has already performed on stage in Los Angeles and Las Vegas and is featured on a compact disc produced by the Concordia’s Centre for the Arts in Human Development.
The crowd and the band thouroughly enjoyed her performnace. Good luck in the Future Lisa!

As for the Directors..The stage was huge and the sound impeccable. It was a usual non-stop party while the crowd danced the hours away. The Directors thank all who were invloved.

Next Stop...the Shaar Zion synagogue.
