Star Studded Event

August 25th, 2007

Gisela and Linneo

The stunning couple who reside in Italy, travelled all the way to Montreal to celebrate the occasion of their marriage with family at friends at Buffet Roma.

Auguri!!

This wedding was different than most that followed more of an authentic Italian reception.

Friends of the bride and groom put together several games which guests were more than willing to take part in.

One of these games was a box full of costumes was given to the groom. Each costume represented a different dance. The groom would pull a costume from the box and then have to recreate the dance that went with each costume.

For example...ballet.

Linneo was a real trooper and succeeded in entertaining his guests.

Friends also put together a song for the couple....

There was no shortage of entertainment at this party.

Gisella and her Italian prince shared a traditional second dance.

Once her friends decided to let her go....

......................................................................................

One truly amazing feature of the night was young budding star in the making "Vanessa" who blew guests out of their seats with her amazing voice, confidence and stage presence.

"Fergie, watch out!"

She even sang a duet with Tony.

Listen to Vanessa sing, check out this video below.
She's not even ten years old yet !

It was a star- studded event !

Thanks to Buffet Roma, Gisela and Linneo.

Sincerely,

The Directors

Married in a fever

Laurie Ann and Pedro got married "in a fever" at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Festivities began with a special guest singer,Michael. This fine young man performed a duet with Tony called "Mama" by Il Divo. Let's just say there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

There are many elements that make up a great wedding. This is where creativity comes into play. At many points during the night when guests clink on their glasses this provokes the bride and groom to share a kiss.
This can result in many things such as broken china or a very big headache or long dish bill at the end of the evening.
On this night, there was something a little different in store for guests.

Hoola Hoops!

Apparently, the groom's sister had been practicing for a full year !
That's alot of kisses!

There were many special requests that evening, and Johnny Cash was at the top of the list.
It was the classiest hoe-down the Ritz Carleton had ever seen.

The Directors show band kept guests on their feet the entire evening.
Laurie Ann and Pedro sure had a great dancing crowd.

A very special part of the evening for the fine couple was the cutting of the cake.
And a beautiful cake it was...

And there you have it folks, another wonderful and joyous celebration for the union of two very deserving people.

The Directors would like to thank Laurie Ann and Pedro as well as everyone at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Sincerely,

The Directors.

Memories to last a lifetime

August 19th, 2007, at TBDJ Synagogue, Marisa and Josh happily swore their love to each other in front of family and friends.
Mazel Tov !

Let's get a close up of Marisa, the Bride, before she swore her solemn vows.
Cool as a cucumber!

Marisa anxiously awaited for her much anticipated walk down the aisle.
The doors would open as if to symbolize the opening of the doors to her new and exciting future.

As the ceremony drew to a close guests entered the reception hall and in came Marisa and Josh as the crowd roared....

From then on, it was a party to remember....
As any traditional Jewish wedding, the evening began with a high intensity hora.
Men and women alike flocked to the dance floor.

It was obvious that Marisa conquered her fear of heights...

With the help of her sister....

The only time guests were seated was to give the spotlight to Ben Levitt who graciously gave the blessing before the meal, otherwise known as the motzi.

The Directors were the featured act ......

Along with Mr. Mark Levitt, who also kept guests entertained, with his version of the "Russian moskovskaya drinking dance".....

With all that entertainment, needless to say, it was a pretty raging party.

Although Marisa did not participate in the Russian dance, she seemed to have a pretty good time herself.

And so it went, another fun filled and exhilarating night had by all.

The Directors would like to thank TBDJ Synagogue
as well as Marisa, Josh and Iris for choosing The Directors for one of the most important and pivotal moment of their lives.
We are honored to have shared this with you and hope it will be a memory to last a lifetime.

Sincerely,

The Directors.
